I love kitchens. this is the room that tests all of my skills. this is the gathering place. when guests come over, everyone ends up here. I enjoy cooking, so not only do I understand the kitchen from a design and a building perspective, but also the perspective of practical uses.

finishing your basement is a great way to add living space to your home. basements are the perfect place for a home theater or home office. it doesn't have to be storage. it can be nice and usable.

when you are downstairs and so far from the kitchen wouldn't it be nice to have kitchen 2 right there to get a drink or a snack? I can build a simple run of cabinets with a microwave and a mini-fridge all the way to a complete second kitchen. the possibilities are literally endless.
